I found myself reading this book with renewed interest. This is a great book for one embarking on a new career as a Reflexologist and for those who wish to reinforce their knowledge base and it may be used as CPD points.

It is easy to read and has been written in a clear and concise way that even one new to Reflexology will gain much from reading it and it will make the reader eager to try the technique out.

There are six chapters, the first looks at the roots of reflexology and where it stands today giving one a great overview. The next chapter looks at ‘Holism’ – Body, Mind and Spirit/Soul and the importance of treating holistically. Treating the whole being not just isolated parts resulting in the return of balance. Chapter three looks at ‘Body and Sole’ – giving an all round understanding of anatomy, physiology, reflexes and the way they underpin a reflexology treatment making it (w)holistic. A comprehensive look at ‘Hand Reflexology’ and the reflexes make up chapter four. ‘Rescue Package for Family and Friends’ covers self treatment, first aid and energy boosting.  The final chapter ‘Food for Thought’ looks at diet in an interesting and easy to understand way. There are many diagrams throughout showing reflexes, zones and supporting some of the movements used.

All in all, an easy to read informative book well worth adding to ones collection. Diane Morgan
