The mind in chaos....

The mind in chaos - is a mind that is not focussed, thoughts are random and often counter-productive. The mind aspect works best when focussed upon one point, one action - as action always follows a thought. When you find your mind is in that state of chaos, filled with thoughts that appear to create a never ending cycle, whirling like the twirling dervishers, it is time for you to 'take time-out'. Time to sit, standstill or even lie down where possible, try counting to ten, relax and settle your mind on a pleasant memory, a favourite poem or even to hum a favouite tune. Slowly let your awareness drift into the silence, into the nothingness for a few moments in time, if a thought wanders into your silent space just let it flow, do not give it your focussed attention. 'Let it flow, let it go'; but if one thought catches your attention and has value, purpose and direction, if it is aligns with your current life purpose then allow your mind to become focussed with an expansion of this thought and follow this through with the necessary action. Most answers to problems are to be found in the silent moments. Those thoughts which are counter-productive will not have the same strength/attraction/energy as those that are important to your life's journey, allow them to pass across the screen of the mind, 'let flow, let go' do not energise them. Remember to still the 'chattering monkeys of the mind' when chaos rules the mind - for they cause the chaos. Recognise your inherent power, take control when your mind becomes the 'twirling dervisher', take back your control and be focussed. Blessed Be. Pax
